Amazon goes big in Texas

Amazon delivered good economic news, announcing plans for a 700,000-square-foot distribution center and warehouse in Waco. Gov. Greg Abbott and other state officials heralded the plan to bring up to 1,000 workers to Central Texas at a starting wage of $15 an hour.

Irving company pivots to green energy

Vistra, an energy powerhouse based in Irving, announced plans to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. A key part of that plan is a capital investment of $1.15 billion by 2022 on solar and storage projects in California and Texas.

Still enjoying the beautiful weather, however the wind is suppose to change this evening and come from the north, and also a twenty degree drop in temperature. By morning guess we will be hunting a jacket. Oh well it will be October in a few hours so we have to look for a drastic change.
