When Tex Midkiff of Yantis was attending Stephen F. Austin University in Huntsville he worked as a prison guard. Occasionally he would take some prisoners serving time for drug offenses to high schools and let the inmates tell about their experiences.

The kindness of us

I’ve written about this several times and in different ways. If I comment on “the beauty of God’s creation,” most will see visions of stunning landscapes and the beauty of the oceans. When I ponder the beauty of God’s creation, my mind goes to my fellow human beings and their kindness.

I'm sure glad Joe and I got everything done Monday and Tuesday, went to Abilene to get the pills we needed, then instead of buying groceries and such, and said, "Joe we are going back by Stanford let's just stop at Wal Mart there, not as big of crowds."So that is what we did.
