I hope everyone survived yesterday and did not blow away. It seemed more like March instead of January. I thought we were suppose to get some rain, but it sure wasn't rain... Today is much better, thank goodness. We hope and pray that all the sick folks are doing better.

Dear Editor, I want to express my sincere "thank you and appreciation" to all of the women and men that were involved in the virus vaccine clinic last week. I, plus others that I have talked to, were amazed how tremendously well organized the event was and how professionally it was conducted.

Lawmakers start $7 billion away from target
