Although mesquite trees and overgrown vegetation have reclaimed the diamond’s former infield, a petition submitted to Aspermont ISD Superintendent Zach Morris just before the end of term has enough interest among the students that have officials gearing up for an AISD Baseball Team.
Jacy Sparks and Max Makin not only took along the DMC on their trip to the Temple of Apollo, Naxos Island of Greece, but they also got engaged while there! Tow first for the DMC! Unaccompanied Veteran Burial June 9th in Abilene

On Friday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. sharp, the Texas State Veterans Cemetery At Abilene will conduct an Unaccompanied Veteran Burial for U.S. Army Veteran Private First Class (PFC) Donald Lynn Barefield. Born on March 1, 1948, PFC Barefield served from November 1970 to March 1972.

The First Baptist Church of Aspermont is excited to invite children from 3 years old through completed 6th grade back for the first time since a fire destroyed the sanctuary 3 years ago. Registration will be at 5pm on May 30th and VBS begins at 5:30 pm for the two night event.
