Farm Service Agency Now Accepting Nominations for Farmers and Ranchers to Serve on Local County Committees

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, June 15, 2022 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) is now accepting nominations for county committee members. Elections will occur in certain Local Administrative Areas (LAA) for members.

Late night fire devastates Aspermont home

Shortly after midnight Thursday, June 2nd, the Stonewall County Volunteer Fire Department received a callout to a house fire. The fire was located at the corner of McCarty and Buie in south Aspermont. The fire department was able to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes and structures.
