Rotan approves TCG agreement for community cleanup

The Rotan City Council approved an agreement with Texas Communities Group earlier this month to clean up and market the roughly 35 trust properties scattered throughout the city. The council also proposed the no-new-revenue tax rate, which councilmembers anticipate adopting next month.

Roby CISD begins superintendent search

The Roby CISD trustees assembled in a special-called meeting on Monday, where in addition to holding a public hearing before adopting this year’s budget and tax rate, the board discussed how to proceed with filling the administrative vacancy left by Superintendent Keith Cook’s recent resignation.
