On Monday, the Aspermont ISD Board of Trustees adopted a policy that establishes a safety program, which will allow for multiple school personnel to be armed during school hours.

After being notified the City of Aspermont shared responsibility for repaying the IRS an estimated $110,000 related to EMS services, the council agreed to withdraw funds earmarked for county law enforcement contributions to cover the unanticipated expenses.
