Friday, February 18th the Lady Hornets faced off with Highland in the Area Championship game. At half-time, the score was 22-18 in favor of the Hornets. Aspermont battled for 4 quarters against a solid Highland team.

Last Thursday, the Lady Lions battled the Hermleigh Cardinals for the area title. The Lady Lions fought hard, but were ultimately defeated, with a final score of 25-55. Leading the team in scoring was Callie Humphrey, with eight points.

It was the year 2015 when the lady Hammers played in a Bi-District playoff game, the game was played at Hermleigh’s gymnasium. Taylor Posey led the team with 23 rebounds as the team defeated Jayton by the final score of 40-37.

The Hornets will be playing for bi-district against Crowell Monday, Feb. 21st at 8pm in Haskell. The Lady Hornets will play for area against Highland Friday, Feb. 18th at 8pm in Anson.

Last Friday, the Roby Lions went out and dominated against the Rotan Yellowhammers, with a final score of 64-39. Rotan’s defense came in hot in the first and third quarters, but Roby managed to pull away with rebounds. Brennan Faucett was on fire for the Lions with 14 points.
