Aspermont wins big district matches against Knox City

On December 31st, the Hornets and Lady Hornets played the Knox City Greyhounds. The day started off right with the JV girls defeating the Houndettes by a score of 34-15. Next up were the varsity Lady Hornets, who continued the winning streak with a score of 71-16. The girls started out with a bang!

District competition started off with a bang Friday night in the Lion’s Den. The Lady Lions faced off against their county rivals, the Rotan Lady Yellowhammers. With a final score of 46-21, the Lady Lions took the win, and are now preparing to take the district by storm.

On December 9th, 10th, and 11th, Aspermont hosted a basketball tournament where both varsity teams and the girl's JV competed. The JV held their own against varsity teams, but lost to Eden, Hamlin, and Paducah. The Varsity Girls went 4-0 to win the Championship.

Aspermont Hornets work hard to gear up for district play

This past weekend, the Lady Hornets competed in the Munday tournament. The girls came out with third place overall, finishing with a 4-1 tournament record. They beat Blackwell 45-40, Lueders 73-18, Winters 34-20, and Munday 38-24. They fell short to Eula by one point, with a score of 50-51.
