Deadline nears to register for elections

Eligible Texas voters who have not done so already have until April 7 to register to vote in the May 7 statewide constitutional amendment election, as well as any local elections for city, school districts and other local entities.

Well here we are in the fourth month already, The weather is changing, but we still have lot of wind whether it's summer or winter, we have wind. However, I can remember when it got so hot and I prayed for a breeze to cool me off, so I think I will just quit complaining!!!!!

Stonewall Co. Apprisal District

Stonewall County Chief Appraiser Debra Smith and Deputy Appraiser Hilary McDonald are wrapping up the 2022 Reappraisals. The Stonewall CAD staff began reappraisal work around September 2021 and continued through the end of March 2022 with all data gathered entered into the CAMA system.

Texas Department of Agriculture hosts Bi-Annual Quilt Competition "Texas Rodeos"

AUSTIN – Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is asking quilters from across the Lone Star State to participate in the Texas Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) 2022 Quilt Block Competition. Quilters are asked to submit patterns depicting scenes from Texas Rodeos.
