Texas lawmakers back U.S. ban on Russian oil imports and call for increased domestic production

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Tuesday moved to ban Russian imports of oil and gas, a policy with wide support among Texas Republicans and Democrats in Washington. But there is less agreement in Texas and nationally in how the U.S should go about replacing what adds up to about 7% of all U.S.

Fisher County Deputies are issuing tags on junked vehicles in Roby and Rotan, giving the owner 14 days to remove the vehicle.

The First United Methodist Church of Rotan has been raising funds as Ukrainian refugees poured into neighboring countries after the Russian invasion last month, with Rotan parishioners sending roughly $15,000 to a sister church in Poland to assist those efforts.
