Making long trips during the holidays is nothing new for Dallas native, Larry Sauls, and this year is no exception as he made the near 10 hour round trip to deliver a truckload of bicycles to the Fisher County Ministerial Association, arriving just after this week’s Sunday services.

During weeks of spirited competition among student classes, the Roby CISD National Honor Society wrapped up its annual canned food drive for The Fisher County Food Pantry this month. The drive took place over two weeks with students from all grades bringing cans and money.

The Fisher County Sherrif’s Department, on Wednesday, arrested Joe Nixon from Rotan after an investigation earlier in the week uncovered evidence of a sexual assault with a child.
