Waking up to rain falling on the roof, what a welcome sound, I told Joe I think we have moved to a tropical island, it rains nearly every day!!! We got another inch and 3 tenths before 8:00 and then we got another shower late in the afternoon.

In my first book, Playing with the Enemy, I wrote a story about my Father and in my Father’s honor. To me, Playing with the Enemy was more than a best-selling book. For years, it has been a dream of mine that somebody would make it into a movie – and I still pray it comes to pass.

I am having a difficult time trying to get this article typed. The electricity keeps going off in this rain storm. We had a good storm this morning around three or so and got a good rain, I think around two inches. Now it is coming down pretty good, and the lighting and thunder is bad.
