Well, all I can say this was a different Christmas Holiday!!!!! NO kids, not grandkids, and no great grandkids playing around your feet, riding their bicycles up the street, playing in the yards, nothing.

Gov. Greg Abbott and other Texas leaders are rolling up their sleeves to get the COVID-19 vaccine and to encourage the public to follow suit. “I will never ask any Texan to do something that I’m not willing to do myself,” Abbott said before getting vaccinated at a televised event in Austin.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas with good health and lot of family gatherings. The weather has been nice, a little windy and cool, but better than a snow storm. I was so sad to learn of the passing of a brother-in-law, Furman Metcalf, of Aspermont.

Wow it's cold in Aspermont this morning 21 too cold for me, glad I'm not in Kentucky, I talked to our friends yesterday and asked them if they had all the clothes they had on. They laughed and said, "Well we do have all of our coveralls laying at the back door, but it's only raining here.
