SNAFUs in the workplace

I attribute the acronym SNAFU to the military, although I’m not sure anyone knows where it came from. The military has an acronym for just about everything and is outstanding at naming things for what they are or represent.

My Plea II

Lord, help me to be more obedient to your word. Lord, help me to love the unlovable. Lord, help me to not give up even when things seem impossible to me. Lord, help me to open my eyes to see the needs of others around me, and use the gift you blessed me with to serve them.

Abbott ties voucher passage to teacher pay, school funding

Gov. Greg Abbott, just hours after the Senate initially approved a school voucher measure, said he would add teacher raises and increased public school funding to the ongoing special session agenda if the Texas Legislature passes his voucher plan, the Texas Tribune reported.

I bet everyone is enjoying the cooler weather like we are. The rains were so wonderful and the cool weather made it all so nice. It was time to do away with those hot, hot days. I think folks have more energy and feel better when it is not so hot like we had in Aug and Sept.
