I had a nice surprise this morning, Joe and I were working in the yard, picking tomatoes, he was picking the squash and zucchini and looking at the okra. I had come in the house to get the hummingbird feeder and a man hopped out of his pickup.

Donna Atkins spends half her time in Big Spring and the other half in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She maintains residences in both cities. She grew up in Big Spring and bought the house in Idaho to be near her daughter and her family.

Oh! it's heart breaking to go to Rotan and see the damage done in my home of Fisher County. Joe and have gone 2 times over there and just breaks my heart, but so thankful there were not people hurt.

What a week we have had, these tornadoes I am ready for them to leave, proud of the rain, but it sure has been a hard week for all of us from Matador, Texas, came on down south all the way to Rotan and had things blown away all the way down.
