Long-time Albemarle County resident Clifton McCleskey died on Monday, September 27, 2021, after a brief illness. He is survived by Jo, his darling wife of seventy years, and also by sons, Turk and Pierce; daughter-in-law, Kathleen; and beloved dog, Sammy. Clifton was born in west Texas.

Wilma Jean (Wallace) Wilson, 86, of Girard, TX passed away September 26, 2021 in Aspermont, TX Wilma was born in McAdoo, TX on February 17, 1935 to CT and Frances Wallace. She lived her younger years in McAdoo and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She loved playing basketball.
