City of Rotan to fill vacancy

The Rotan City Council met for the first time since the sudden passing of Director of Public Works Rodney Denton late last month. The council withdrew into executive session last week, concluding November’s meeting with the somber task of filling Denton’s vacancy.

Roby CISD reports rock-solid finances

Gerald Rogers with James E. Rogers & Company recently presented Roby CISD Trustees with the district’s annual financial report, where data showed the school wrapped up FY 2020 in excellent financial. Rodgers painted a brief historical picture of how the district has performed in recent years.
