Family Fun and Public Safety Unite at Fisher County National Night Out

editor@dmchronicle.comFamilies gathered at the Fisher County Senior Citizens Center Tuesday evening as the Fisher County Lion’s Club sponsored the National Night Out, a nationwide event built on the simple idea that knowing your neighbor still matters.

Texas pumpkin producers are experiencing a strong harvest thanks to consistent rainfall and a dry July. While quantity is on par with last season’s harvest, producers say overall pumpkin quality is better compared to last year, according to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service experts.
