Gallagher outlines early facility concepts for Roby CISD

As considerations and discussions continue to evolve for Roby CISD, trustees heard an early-stage facilities presentation during a last week’s board meeting as Gallagher Construction representatives walked through preliminary concepts intended to spark discussion about long-range campus planning.

“A Stitch in History”

Quilts, Ellen Goodwin told a gathering of DAR and DKG members last week, are not just fabric — they are family memory you can hold in your hands. Her program at Rotan Methodist Church traced the craft from unfinished projects in her own attic to a Texas quilt mentioned in a will dated 1779.
