CLOCK IS TICKING ON ASPERMONT ISD BOND WORK

During its meeting last week, Aspermont ISD trustees were informed they will begin receiving monthly bond updates as district officials work to improve communication, monitor construction progress, and keep the athletics area on track for two-a-days beginning Aug. 1.

Late on a Tuesday afternoon earlier this month work crews were still at it. They spent the better part of a week tearing out wood chips, trenching sand, rolling out fabric, and hauling in the rubberized mulch at the city park playground.
