Shirley Joan (Bickerstaff) Melton was born November 28, 1934 to Clifton and Eda Bickerstaff in Rotan, Texas. She married Jimmy Neeves Melton of Roby, Texas on August 16, 1953. As a mother to four children, Shirley, James, Wayne and Dorsey she was a creator of joy, magic and mischief.
