The Roby Lions played Cross Plains on Saturday 5, winning 40-37. The Lions were led by Braxton Coker with 13 points, Eric Ragan 8, Gunner Helm and Ethan Hernandez 6, Jake Byers 3, Cannon Walker and Tyler Stewart 2 points. The Lady Lions lost to the Lady Jaybirds Saturday December 5, 17-32.

Aspermont Lady Hornets hit the court with confidence when the state ranked Munday Lady Moguls came to town last Saturday. The Lady Hornets easily put 20 points on the board with in the 1st quarter and by the half they were head 29 - 22.

The Aspermont Hornets fell to the Ira Bulldogs 52-6 on Friday in the last conference game of the season. Before the coin toss, the 2021 senior class was escorted onto the field by their parents to be honored. This year, there are twenty-one students in Aspermont’s senior class.

The Aspermont Lady Hornet Volleyball Team advanced to Regional competition Tuesday night after defeating the Buena Vista Lady Longhorns in a 3-0 sweep. The Longhorns provided a fair challenge to the Hornets, coming up short 25-17 in the first two sets and bringing the third set down to the wire.
