The numbers are in, and based on current census data, Fisher County will be redrawing commissioner precinct boundaries before the upcoming primary elections. A public hearing is scheduled to be held just before next week’s regular meeting of the court on Monday.

The Fisher County Clothes Closet sells used clothing and household items and the funds go to The Fisher County Food Pantry. They are located on Main Street in Roby, just south of the light on the west side. On Friday, November 5th, they are having a yard sale to reduce inventory.

The price of a gallon of gasoline tops $3 across much of the state, which is up more than $1.20 from a year ago, according to AAA. The average price for regular gas in Texas stood at $3.03 per gallon on Sunday as crude oil prices continue to creep up, closing above $80 per barrel.
