The Aspermont Hornets fell to the Hermleigh Cardinals 71-42 in Friday’s first conference of the season. The Hornets came out ready to take on the Cardinals, but Hermleigh didn’t want another defeat and started out strong, scoring a touchdown within the first forty seconds of the game.

The Aspermont Hornets came out and defeated the Abilene TLC Eagles 54-6 in Friday night's football game. Within the first 15 seconds of the game, Senior Joseph Hecht scored a 40 yard touchdown. Shortly after Senior Gabriel Rojas scored his first touchdown since the season kicked off.

The Roby Lions continued to roar Friday night as they again forced the mercy rule on the Bobcats, beating Rule 64-14 in the third quarter. Although the Bobcats were the first to score, the Lions responded with a series of plays, with Kaige Covington carrying the ball in for a touchdown.
