The Rotan Yellowhammers continue to stay on task with their second consecutive win by the 45-point mercy rule, racking up 347 yards on only 16 plays to end Friday night’s game against the Woodson Cowboys with 54 – 6 victory.

Lions fall in 4th to Hornets

It was a rough one for the Roby Lions last Friday, scoring only a single touchdown for the nigh and Highland taking the 56 – 6 win early in the fourth quarter. The Lions received a series of penalties early in the game, backing them in fourth and long.

The Roby Lady Lions Cross Country team has been working hard to dominate the course in the first three meets of the season. The girls collects a 1st place at both the Aspermont meet on August 29th and Snyder meet on September 5th. At the Eula meet this Tuesday they brought home a 3rd place medal.

The Roby Lions kicked off their second season in the six-man division Friday night, winning over the Sands Mustangs by a single point to end the game with a 46 – 45 victory.

Wilks Primo 9519 won reserve grand champion steer at the 2020 Texas Junior Angus Association State Show, June 6-7 in Belton, Texas. Taylor Moore, Roby, Texas, owns the September 2019 son of Colburn Primo 5153. Clint Woodrow, Emporia, Kan., evaluated the 176 entries.
