Fire personnel, along with the Fisher County Sheriff's Department and first responders worked to extinguish flames in Rotan last week, threatening multiple old structures before being extinguished. At about 1:30 p.m.

High winds drive Fisher Co. brush fire

Fisher County Fire departments, along with the Texas Forest Service and multiple assisting agencies from surrounding counties, battled high winds last Friday night during fire suppression efforts that lasted well into the early morning hours. The Plum Bluff Fire ignited at around 6:00 p.m.
