(SWEETWATER, Texas) - A scholarship opportunity led Joshua Cabaniss, of Rotan, to Texas State Technical College. After learning of the Amadeus Wind Energy Scholarship from his high school principal, Cabaniss researched TSTC’s Wind Energy Technology program and enrolled.

Rotan fights pothole problem

The Rotan City Council unanimously voted in favor last week to purchase a new machine that could fix the city’s numerous potholes, with council members agreeing that the long-term concerns were outweighed by the potential impact to the pothole problem.
