Heated budget talks end early in Fisher County

The Fisher County Commissioners’ second round of budget reviews ended almost as soon as they began on Monday when straying conversations sparked debates that resulted in calling for early adjournment.

Roby students finish year by celebrating traditioanl Mane Event

Roby CISD students were excited to get back to their traditional Mane Event this year. They were unable to host the event last year due to COVID. This year marks the 34th year for the Roby Mane Event – Project Graduation - that was held on Friday, May 28, 2021.

Ritz Cracker Pie otherwise known as Mystery Pie

3 egg whites beaten until stiff but not dry 1 cup of sugar added gradually 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla fold in 20 crushed Ritz crackers Add a 1/2 cup of coconut and a 1/2 of cup of pecans, chopped. Pour into a buttered pie plate and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
