The 32 Judicial District Court convened on Wednesday, where District Judge Glen Harrison accepted a guilty plea from Christopher Gonzales on charges associated with a home invasion and assaults in February.

Roby and Rotan exes will be returning this Friday night, the first time either school has celebrated a homecoming since 2019. From breakfast to dinner over Friday and Saturday, homecoming activities include parades, bonfires, football, dances, live music, mud bogs and more.

Fisher County Sheriff Randy Ford swore in his newest deputy last Friday, rounding out the department’s roster. Fisher County Deputy Erick Reynolds took his oath early on August 27.Reynolds spent 20 years in the USAF — much of which at Dyess — before retiring at Lackland AFB.
