The Stonewall County Swimming Pool will officially be kicking off the summer months of fun in the sun this Saturday, May 29. In the last couple of months, the pool was repaired and covered with 40 gallons of fresh paint.

Texas peach and blackberry producers are reporting above-average fruit sets, good growing conditions and very few issues as they near harvests, and are expecting high demand, according to a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service expert. Larry Stein, Ph.D.

Well, we had some thunder and lighting last night, but no rain. However they say that we have a chance for rain during this week, so guess we will wait and see. I want to tell all you Old Glory people' that this is the year for the Old Glory School Homecoming.

Fisher County Historical Commission

Fisher County’s Historical Commission met on Tuesday, May 4th with 14 members and 1 guest, Revis Leonard. Two members of long-standing returned this year after a couple year’s absence, Mary Hudnall and Corky Steele. It was wonderful to reunite with old friends.
