Aspermont properties up for sale

As part of the City of Aspermont and the Texas Communities Group’s citywide cleanup project, there are currently several properties within the city that are available for purchase. City officials will soon place For Sale signs to identify each of the trust properties in the upcoming days.

T.W. Flowers: 2020 Jr. NFR Saddle Bronc Riding Champion

16-year-old Tyge (T.W.) Flowers from Old Glory recently won the 2020 Jr. NFR Novice Saddle Bronc Riding Championship in Fort Worth, adding to a growing collection of buckles and other awards in what is becoming a potential career for the young bronc rider.

Toy Drive Extended

The organizers of the Rotan Toy Drive have extended this year’s deadline until December 17 at noon. This will allow for more donations to be gathered and moved to a larger building to allow families better social distance when selecting gifts.
