Lions endure tough competetion at Borden Co. Tournament

Last week, Roby athletes traveled an hour and a half away to the infamous Borden County tournament. Known for the presence of rough teams around the region, the Lions were in for a tough few days. To begin the tournament, the Lady Lions faced off against the Borden County Lady Coyotes.

The Lady Yellowhammers has played a total of five games in the past week. (December 6, 2022) The varsity team defeated Stamford freshman team by the score of 52-12. The highlight moment was Sophie Jones making a baseline shot from the right side, as the teammates and the fans cheered loudly!
