Lady Lions remain undefeated in district after fierce clash with Aspermont

Tuesday, the Roby Lady Lions defeated Aspermont for the first time in years. After a nail biting game, the Lady Lions were no doubt excited their hard work had finally paid off, as they remain undefeated in district play. During the first quarter, the Lady Lions got an early lead.

On December 20, 2022 , the Rotan Lady Yellowhammers opened up District play against the Roby Lady Lions team at Roby. The team jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with 6:50 left in the opening period.

Lady Lions dominate in district opener

The Lady Lions opened district with a 64 point win Friday, December 16th against the Lueders-Avoca Raiders. After a hard game three days before, the Lady Lions were warmed up and ready for district play. The game started off strong in the Lady Lion’s favor.

On December 13, the Lady Yellowhammers set the tempo early, with a 15-0 run in the opening period against Moran, the score was 17-2 at the end of this period. The team would outscore Moran 17-4 in the second period to take a commanding 34-6 lead at the end of this period.
