Last Saturday, the Lions high school and Jr. high cross-country teams participated in the WTC Invitational meet. All runners did remarkably well, as running in rough terrain is something all rural kids are familiar with.
The Lions were up first to the starting line.
The Roby Lions and Lady Lions participated in the Warpath Invitational meet at Jim Ned on Saturday. Both teams faced fierce competitors and rough terrain, perfect to prepare them for high-level races this fall.
Roby fans were able to lay eyes on their 2021 fall athletic teams for the first time last week, with the high school football team, cross country teams, and cheerleading squad were on display at Meet the Lions on Friday.
The Lady Lions cross-country team is excited for the season to start.
